It has been a turbulent year for charities across the globe since 2019 where Covid made itself known.
A lot of our fundraising efforts were halted, and this has impacted terribly on some of our local and global charities.
ICG Foundation was set up in 2015 after its founder, Adrian Treacy, was on a work trip in India and noticed a small child, as young as one of his children looking for somewhere to sleep for the night on the streets of Gurgaon.
From that moment, he knew he wanted to make a difference, but how? The Foundation is here to support every charity, far and wide, who donate to and support underprivileged children. There isn’t a charity we will turn away who share the same vision.
2021 started slow but we were incredibly lucky to be able to finally throw our annual gala, our stand-out event in the calendar to raise funds for the ICG Foundation. Due to Covid, we had been unable to host this event for over 2 years and have had a lot of our fundraising efforts halted. That made the 2021 gala feel just that extra bit special.
We welcomed 100+ guests for a fun-filled evening with the main aim being to help underprivileged children in our local communities. Special thanks to those who contributed amazing prizes to our raffle and auction.
Dinner, dancing and celebrations were had by all, and we managed to raise a fantastic £32,000 which is simply incredible. Thank you. We look forward to letting you know what is coming up in 2022!
